Clifford Community Church is a local ministry called of God to communicate the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our commitment is to uphold the teaching of the Word of God and make disciples of Christ. We are honoured to be servants of the living God and to seek to be humble in our representation of our Saviour Jesus Christ. We believe the table of the Lord welcomes everyone, but there is a clear call to live a life pleasing to the Lord. Our mission to you is to help you know Christ and to live life as a Christ follower. We count it a privilege to be a part of the great work of the Good and Awesome God of heaven and earth.

“Coins for Copters”
People hidden in the jungles of South America and Asia need Jesus!
A helicopter is the best way for missionaries to get to them.
You can help. We can all work together to fill this can
with coins to help buy a helicopter.
Helping and serving together – Thank You!
Thank you for bringing your Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes and making many children happy, blessing and encouraging them with your generosity.
Recently in Burkina Faso, shoeboxes were given out in a so-called “no-go zone for the Gospel,” an area known to be hostile to Christianity. But local parents were delighted when gifts were given to their children and they experienced God’s love in a tangible way. When the Gospel was presented, many of the children, along with their parents, prayed to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and a new church was started. “Through Operation Christmas Child, God visited the village,” a shoebox volunteer said. “This no-go zone is now a go zone for the Gospel! Thank you for sharing. ~
Merry Christmas and God’s blessings to you,
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.” Luke 4: 18 & 19
God is Spirit, invisible, not seen by the human eyes. But that has not hindered Him from communicating with us, His creation of us; in His image and likeness – was and is relational. To be relational, communication is the necessity and the blessing. God went to real lengths to communicate with us. His most tangible work of connecting with us is in His written Word, the Bible. Each of us has the privilege of possessing it, reading, studying, learning and growing through it. God also speaks to us by His Spirit and the creation itself. This communication from the world alone is so real that God Himself says no one has any excuse for not knowing Him.
The birth of God’s Son Jesus and all about Him is also God’s communication with us. Jesus is the very visible appearance of the invisible God to communicate God’s love to us. All of these connect us to God, Himself. God desires a relationship with each of us.
Relationships however are not just one-sided communication. In this case it is not just God connecting with us and we listen. It’s highly significant that we hear from God. Listening to God takes effort, honest work, being still, giving it time, etc..
However, God has a great desire to hear from you, from me. He desires we worship Him and give Him thanks, expressing our very heart and soul to Him, unloading your cares and concerns so He can carry them. God’s desire is for us to ask our needs of Him, so we can receive from Him. God is very relational, build that relationship by communicating with Him. Don’t miss out on it. These are the days that God has given us. For some they are days of uncertainty, confusion, trials and hardships. God has spoken out about such times and reminds us such times are to be used to grow our endurance, develop our character, strengthen our hope in His salvation and such hope will never disappoint us.
Rejoice in Him! Each of us in Christ can also rejoice because we are right with God, saved from condemnation, our friendship with God is restored and this relationship will never end. God is in control.
Being in a relationship with God also gives us a relationship with His children. Our present times can make any and all relationships seem strained and even a struggle. It can be real easy to retreat into ourselves, feeling alone and even hurt. At times dwelling on the idea – ‘who needs me and no one else cares’. Such times as these, call for Godly wisdom, we need to put a conscious effort into connecting, encouraging and building each other up. People are weighed down and burdened – you may be such an individual. The best way to see the clouds lifted, to rejoice, is by lifting others up.
The Garden of Eden in all it’s perfection, beauty, supply and being very good had the presence of death. Death could be chosen, and it was the choice. The birth of Jesus and the Garden of Gethsemane had the will of God and life. Each day and in each situation be like Jesus – choose life, choose the will of God. Our 2021 Christmas greeting to you brings with it our prayer for you. We are delighted to be a member with you of the body of Christ, to celebrate our Saviour and to encourage you as part of Clifford Community Church. Our family is well and we trust you and your family is enjoying God’s wonderful Gift of Life. We are here for you.
Love & Prayers
